Again today because we should be always thinking alternative energy, two problems in central Florida!
And officials are still willing to spend millions of our tax dollars to do patch work on old style inefficient systems!
If we do not get new ‘BLOOD’ in our Florida government, taxpaying Floridians are always going to be on the hook to waste our money on olden day thinking!
Flagler Beach Florida water and sewer rates higher to fix the waste water and treatment plant?
Orange County Florida land fill smell
In both towns and every town/city/state in the country for that matter, government officials should have been thinking cost and efficiency 30 to 40 years ago?
For instance, the landfill is still above ground and the repairs on an old system should go to a central place that many towns/cities in the area can chip in to build one modern system to handle everyone?
ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. just finished its first day with spraying new odor-control efforts (chemicals that pollute the water, air and land)
and it does not work!
Flagler Beach Florida
Again needs an increase to fund capital expenses at the city’s aging wastewater treatment plant, to replace old vehicles, rebuilding of pumps and other expenses amounting to nearly $2.5 million.
At the same time, capital expenses at the water plant are expected to add up to almost $1.5 million in the next five years.
If we pick one area central to as many towns as possible, give tax breaks to that town/city and place a one system to do it all?
That housing development complaining about the smell will benefit from cheap electricity from the plant, no smell, no mess, no noise and cheaper power, water and sewerage to all.
As an added benefit, free or cheap top of the line fertilizer to all that wish it?
Everything is trucked and/or piped into the new system?
