Daytona Speedway Goes Green

A reminder of many past postings.

If you live in a city, state or country near water, and/or get a lot of sun, this is for you.

If you do not live in a city, state or country near water and or get a lot of sun you can still “Save Money, a lot of money!”

First, do not allow your power companies to fool you because they are building Solar and Wind Farms, you build your own.

This posting is just a couple of ideas that are now working.

Daytona Speedway Goes Green

Being built by a business and a power company.

Tiny Solar Houses.

These small houses are built for (off the Grid Families) however, you can add a few more panels and it could be your house that is off the grid and selling to the grid.

Power Grid

Please, start to think big about your own ideas?

Florida Power & Light and Daytona International Speedway complete one of the largest solar power installations in U.S. professional sports

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., Feb. 19, 2016 /PRNewswire/

Florida Power & Light Company (FPL) and Daytona International Speedway (DIS)

Today announced the completion of the FPL Solar Circuit,

A system of more than 7,000 solar panels that generate electricity for the Speedway’s operations

In addition, FPL’s 4.8 million customer accounts when the sun is shining.

The FPL Solar Circuit is comprised of three canopy-like structures

Located at the Midway, Sprint FANZONE and Lot 10 parking area covered with solar panels.

One of the largest distributed-generation installations in Florida, FPL Solar Circuit is helping to power the Speedway’s operations and FPL’s 4.8 million customers.

The clean energy generated by the installation will prevent the emission of an estimated 2,200 metric tons of carbon dioxide each year.

Equivalent to an average vehicle driving more than 2 million laps around DIS.

Florida, called the “Sun Shine State,” could receive free energy and still sell to other stated.

As I have been stating since moving to Florida, Sun, Wind and Water alone would give all of Florida enough electricity to take care of the whole state also sell back to the power companies.

So, why are we not doing this?

Because big business like our power companies, cannot find a way to soak the public, as well as other customers!

Another reason to elect someone who can work across the aisle and dump the Koch Brothers and the Super-Pac’s!
