Betsy DeVos on gun control (NONE) the NRA will not allow it!

The NRA grip is so tight GOP lawmakers that Education Secretary Betsy DeVos, announced that her “School Safety Commission” won’t consider the impact of guns.
So
If or should I say ‘when’ the bad guy’s comes into our children school shooting the school, the teachers and our children, the one security guard can always ‘take the bad guy’s out’?
Will the security guard have a AK-47, a Colt AR-15, a machine gun or maybe a Gatling gun to ward off the bad guy’s until help arrives?
Or
Will the security guard be hiding outside of the building?

Education Secretary Betsy DeVos told a Senate panel Tuesday that the newly created Federal Commission on School Safety would not study gun violence in schools.

The commission, created in March, weeks after the mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Fla., is headed by DeVos to provide recommendations on how to keep schools safe.
“These recommendations will include a range of issues, like social emotional support, recommendation on effective school safety infrastructure, discussion on minimum age for firearms purchases, and the impact that videogames and the media have on violence,” the website for the commission says.
But DeVos downplayed how much the commission would look into firearm violence during a Senate subcommittee hearing.

One study by The Nature Conservancy found a 3.2-foot rise in sea level would cause the loss of more than 170,000 acres of coastal forest and 63,000 acres of tidal flats in six estuary systems along Florida’s Gulf Coast between Pensacola Bay and Charlotte Harbor.

Is Trump’s new detention policy a ploy to round-up even more immigrant families?
President Trump was right to end his inhumane policy of separating children from parents charged with the misdemeanor crime of crossing the border without permission, but his executive order seems to contain the seeds for an even broader attempt to detain whole families as they go through deportation hearings.

Part of the order reads:
“Sec. 3.  Temporary Detention Policy for Families Entering this Country Illegally.
(a)  The Secretary of Homeland Security (Secretary), shall, to the extent permitted by law and subject to the availability of appropriations, maintain custody of alien families during the pendency of any criminal improper entry or immigration proceedings involving their members.”
It’s the “or immigration proceedings” that stands out.
The order identifies an “alien family”
As
“not a citizen or national of the United States who has not been admitted into, or is not authorized to enter or remain in, the United States, who entered this country with an alien child or alien children at or between designated ports of entry and who was detained; and … that person’s alien child or alien children.”
So it reads as though families caught far from the border could also be detained.

Not even a plea to “please lock up your car, home and guns from crooked people”
Not a day goes by in this state or country that someone is not shot or is shooting someone or something.
To any normal person in any normal country this would require a good look at the laws in that country.

Trump’s no King David, that’s for sure

It is stunning how Christian conservatives continue to support President Trump, even comparing him to King David, even though Trump’s record is decidedly the opposite of the message of the Bible. Perhaps it is because they have discovered a new gospel, the gospel of Donald.
The traditional gospels (Mathew, Luke, Mark, and John) speak of a humble serving Christ inviting his followers to love and serve God and others by feeding the hungry, welcoming the foreigner, and clothing the naked. Christ states very clearly that his followers must always forgive those who hurt them.
The gospel of Donald is quite a contrast. It promotes racism, wealth, sexism, and xenophobia. It frowns on food stamps that help feed the hungry and it recommends doing away with the Affordable Care Act that gives health care to millions of poor people. The author of this gospel does this with a style that ridicules humility and forgiveness.
This is where the Christian conservatives need to study King David’s life. After committing adultery with Batheheba and then having her husband, Uriah the Hittite killed, King David asked God for forgiveness.

Time before Genesis 1-1?

Lucifer/Satan/Devil, was a Cherubim angle?
(Isaiah 14:12-14).
Some scholars believe him to be the first Archangel and closest to Creator (God).
So how did he become a ‘Fallen Angel’?  That question and the question (dispute between Genesis 1-1, Scientists, Scholars, and historians), and has baffled me for years, until yesterday.
I turned on my radio and bam! The answer to Lucifer’s demise!
When Creator created everything, almost everything ( things that needed to be), was given its own
‘Free Well’
For instance, plants and animals (humans included), If everything is not to a seeds satisfaction it might choose not to grow.
You can, god forbid, choose to go into a school and shoot students?
Or
You can god willing, choose to go into a school and join students.
You can also choose none of the above?
Archangels (Cherubim) Lucifer was given charge over everything answering only to his Creator.
No one knows how many years or Eons passed before Creator decided to start Genesis 1-1,
Except Creator.
The operative word here it (EONS)!
In Earth’s history there are four eons in total:
Hadean, Archean, Proterozoic, and Phanerozoic.
However, in Creators time Eons is up to Creator!
The name Lucifer is translated from the Hebrew word “helel,”
(Ezekiel 28:11-19).
No one knows or should know when Helel a creation and his followers also creations tried to over throw Creator except Helel his follower, Creators Angels and Creator.
The time when angels were created is derived from three passages in the Bible: Exodus 20:11, Job 38:4-7, and Genesis 1:1-5.
When the morning stars sang together
This must refer to some intelligent beings who existed before the creation of the visible heavens and earth:
and it is supposed that this and the following clause refer to the same beings; that by the sons of God, and the morning stars, the angelic host is meant; as they are supposed to be first, though perhaps not chief, in the order of creation. For the latter clause the Chaldee has, “All the troops of angels.” Perhaps their creation may be included in the term heavens, Genesis 1:1; : “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.“

These witnessed the progress of the creation; and, when God had finished his work, celebrated his wisdom and power in the highest strains.

On Earth Day 2018, Americans need to defend their planet like its 1970

Trump and his minions are rolling back hard-fought environmental regulations as fast as they can. We’re not ready to defend our planet this time.
Are we ready? Some 48 years ago we were. April 22, 1970, was about to happen. It would be the first Earth Day, proposed by U.S. Senator Gaylord Nelson, Democrat of Wisconsin.
The estimate by observers was that 20 million people had turned out on the big day. It was a celebration of the priceless value of the Earth to its inhabitants.
